Boilers & Central Heating

Our Gas Safe registered engineers have the necessary experience for the installation of boilers and domestic gas heating systems.

For those systems we have fitted we provide service and maintenance services. All our new boilers are A-rated for energy efficiency and tested by us.

Background

Steve Thorpe has been in the plumbing industry for his entire career and has over 45 years of experience. Steve set up Thorpes Plumbing & Heating over 20 years ago in Leamington Spa. The company went from strength to strength and led to Steve taking on Alistair as an apprentice in 2006. The company became Thorpes Plumbing & Heating Ltd in January 2015 and Ali and Steve took on a new apprentice, Jake in July 2016.

About Us

We credit much of our success to word of mouth recommendations because people recognise the quality, effectiveness and craftsmanship in all of our work.

We are a service led company armed with an outstanding team of heating and gas engineers who hold Gas Safe qualifications and registration. We only employ Tradesmen who have attended a time-served Apprenticeship. All of our Engineers and Plumbers have served a full Apprenticeship and hold either a City & Guilds (Advanced Certificate) or an NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation or in Gas Engineering.

All our engineers use the latest gas analysers to locate gas leaks quickly. This technology allows us to carry out Landlord Gas Safety Certificates, and to install and test gas hobs and gas cookers safely and quickly.

Power flushed heating system, installed 2 new radiators, supplied and fitted 7 thermostatic radiator valves. Supplied and installed printed circuit board. Carried out Gas Safety Certificate, carried out boiler service. Supplied new boiler pump, Honeywell 2 port valve – Honeywell programmer. More work required than expected but system now good as new. The engineers know their stuff, honest and courteous. Pleased with good job.
